Hungary’s 3D visualization market is small and heavily concentrated in Budapest. The studios worth shortlisting are Maverick Frame, Brick Visual, ZOA3D, K2 Visual, 3D-Studio, 3Dlab, 3dmass and 3D Latvanytervezo. Budget roughly $250–$600 for a single exterior still at studio level, and $1,500–$4,000 for a package of five to eight views.
This is an editorial shortlist, not a paid directory. Almost everything else ranking for this search in Hungary is a pay-to-list marketplace that mixes architectural visualization with film VFX, 3D printing and CAD outsourcing. We separated those out first, then ranked what was left. The method is written out below so you can disagree with it.
What a Hungarian 3D visualization studio is: a team that produces photoreal still images, animations and interactive visuals of buildings, interiors and products from CAD or 3D models, before anything is built.
- Not a 3D animation or film-VFX house. Budapest has a strong film-services sector, and it dominates the directory listings for “3D companies in Hungary” — but broadcast and feature work is a different craft from a developer’s exterior set.
- Not a 3D modeling, CAD or 3D printing shop. Those deliver engineering geometry or physical parts. Visualization delivers marketing-grade imagery.
- Not a freelance marketplace profile. A studio carries art direction, revision rounds and post-production inside one contract; a marketplace hands you a person and leaves the coordination to you.
How we ranked the top 3D visualization studios in Hungary
Four criteria, applied in order:
- Archviz-first portfolio. The majority of the public work has to be architectural, interior or product imagery — not film, games or engineering.
- A verifiable Hungarian base. A registered studio address in Hungary, not a sales page targeting the country.
- Evidence of multi-image set delivery. Anyone can show one hero image. A developer needs a consistent set of eight to twenty.
- An English-language client workflow. Relevant if you are commissioning from outside Hungary.
Method note. The shortlist was rebuilt in August 2026 from the live Hungarian Google results for “best 3D rendering companies in Hungary” — the Local Pack plus the whole of organic page one — cross-checked against each studio’s own portfolio. Candidates were removed if their public work was mainly film VFX, 3D printing or CAD, and if their registered base sat outside Hungary. That second filter is why Flying Architecture, which appeared in the 2024 version of this article, is no longer on the list: the studio is based in Brno, Czech Republic. If you want that market, it belongs in our ranking of Czech 3D visualization studios instead.

The best 3D rendering companies in Hungary, reviewed
1. Maverick Frame
We work with Hungarian and Central European clients remotely rather than from a Budapest office, which is the honest caveat to put first. What we bring to this list is breadth across a single project: exteriors, interiors, product CGI and animation produced by one team, so a twenty-image launch set does not drift in colour, lighting or material treatment halfway through.
Most of our developer work is exactly that — a set, not a hero shot. Our interior rendering work tends to lead on material and light behaviour, because in a spa, hotel or residential interior that is what a buyer actually reads. You can judge the range in the studio portfolio.

2. Brick Visual
The best-known name to come out of Hungary. Founded in Budapest in 2012, Brick Visual has grown into an international creative production studio with satellite offices, and it holds the top Local Pack position in Hungarian search results for architectural visualization.
Beyond stills, the studio offers 3D production services, training and software development — a spread that makes it a natural partner for large architectural practices and major developers, and an expensive one for a single apartment scheme. If your project is a competition entry or a landmark, this is the reference point.
3. ZOA3D
Founded in 2005 and based in the capital, ZOA3D produces some of the most assertive imagery in the Hungarian market. The signature is camera choice: buildings are framed head-on and close, with strong contrast, so the structure holds attention rather than dissolving into its context.
That works extremely well for commercial schemes that need one image to carry a campaign. It is less suited to soft, lifestyle-led residential marketing, where the surroundings and the mood are the selling point.
4. K2 Visual
A Budapest studio whose strength is the opposite of ZOA3D’s: landscape and atmosphere. Terrain, vegetation, haze and weather are modelled with as much care as the architecture, which is why their exteriors read as places rather than objects.
The portfolio mixes commercial and residential projects, and it is a good fit when the site itself — a hillside, a shoreline, a mature street — is doing half the selling.

5. 3D-Studio
A Budapest studio with a decade of trading history and a consistently high local review score. The work leans interior and retail — fit-outs, showrooms, hospitality — which makes it a practical choice for Hungarian commercial clients who want to brief in person.
6. 3Dlab
Also Budapest-based, 3Dlab sits in the mid-market: residential interiors and smaller developer sets, delivered without the overheads of the flagship studios. A sensible shortlist entry when the scheme is one building rather than a masterplan.
7. 3dmass
One of the few studios on this list operating outside the capital, from Balassagyarmat in northern Hungary. The focus is single-house and small-scheme latvanyterv work for private clients and small builders — the segment the Budapest studios usually price themselves out of.
8. 3D Latvanytervezo
A Hungarian-language operation serving domestic residential projects. If your project team, drawings and approvals all run in Hungarian and the budget is tight, working entirely in the local language removes a layer of friction that international studios cannot fully remove.
How much does 3D rendering cost in Hungary? How much does 3D rendering cost in Hungary?
At studio level, expect $250–$600 for a single exterior still, $300–$700 for an interior still, $1,500–$4,000 for a package of five to eight views, and $3,000–$8,000 per minute of animation. Independent freelancers in the region typically sit lower: $100–$300 per exterior still, $120–$350 per interior, and $600–$1,500 for a small package.
These are the market ranges we quote against and see quoted across Central Europe, gathered from our own project pipeline rather than from a public price list — Hungarian studios rarely publish one. Three things move a quote inside those bands: the number of views, how much of the surrounding context has to be modelled from scratch, and how many revision rounds you expect to need. Our full breakdown lives in the 3D rendering pricing guide.
Hiring in Budapest vs outsourcing your Hungarian projectHiring in Budapest vs outsourcing your Hungarian project
A Budapest studio wins on proximity: same time zone, same language, site visits, and a shared reading of what a Hungarian buyer or planning committee expects to see. That matters most on heritage-adjacent projects in the city, where the surrounding fabric has to be rendered as carefully as the new building.
An outsourced partner wins on capacity and consistency. The Hungarian market is thin enough that the strongest local studios are frequently booked out, and a twenty-image launch set produced by one external team will hold together better than the same set split across two local vendors under deadline pressure.
From our studio — the most common mistake we see is timing, not budget. Clients start looking for a rendering partner only after the first one has already failed and the deadline is on fire, so the choice gets made in a panic. Line up and vet one or two partners before you actually need them.

Whichever way you go, the brief matters more than the vendor list. Keep it short: how many images, the plans, and one clear line on what the images have to achieve. A fifty-page specification that details every element tends to be taken literally, and literal is rarely beautiful.
If you are commissioning across borders, the same four criteria at the top of this page apply anywhere. We use them for our global ranking of architectural visualization studios and for neighbouring markets such as the leading 3D visualization companies in Austria. For the commercial side — scope, deliverables and formats — see our 3D architectural rendering services.

Frequently Asked Questions
The strongest options are Maverick Frame, Brick Visual, ZOA3D, K2 Visual, 3D-Studio, 3Dlab, 3dmass and 3D Latvanytervezo. Brick Visual is the best known internationally, while Maverick Frame covers the widest range of output within one team. The shortlist comes from live Hungarian search results, filtered to genuine architectural visualization studios.
At studio level, expect roughly $250–$600 for a single exterior still, $300–$700 for an interior still, and $1,500–$4,000 for a package of five to eight views. Animation runs $3,000–$8,000 per finished minute. Independent freelancers in the region typically start around $100 per image.
Almost all of them sit in Budapest, which concentrates the country’s architectural and developer work. The main exception on this list is 3dmass, which operates from Balassagyarmat in northern Hungary and serves private clients and small builders outside the capital.
A Budapest studio wins on proximity: same time zone, same language, site visits and a local reading of what buyers expect. An outsourced partner wins on capacity and consistency, which matters when the strongest local studios are booked out or the launch set runs to twenty images.
A visualization studio produces photoreal images of buildings, interiors and products before they are built. A 3D animation or film-VFX house, of which Budapest has many, works on broadcast, advertising and feature content. Directory listings mix the two, which is why generic rankings for Hungary are unreliable.
Most of them do. The larger Budapest studios run international client work in English as standard, and English-language delivery was one of the four criteria used to build this ranking. Smaller regional operations may work primarily in Hungarian.
Market quotes for a small set of exterior or interior images usually land in the one to two week range, with larger developer sets taking longer. The number of views, how much surrounding context must be modelled and the number of revision rounds are what move that timeline.
